Direct Electron De-Directview

A Versatile Direct Detection Solution For Upgrading Your TEM

With high sensitivity and excellent resolution, the DirectView2 offers cost-effective direct detection for biological and material science applications. The DirectView2 features 4k × 4k pixels with a 6.5 μm pixel pitch optimized for excellent resolution (MTF) over a broad range of magnifications and exposure rates, an integrated Faraday plate, and full-frame unbinned streaming at up to 42 frames per second. Users can acquire data at up to 1000 fps by selecting a smaller readout area.

All of our DE-series cameras deliver state-of-the-art performance and unique features. They allow for direct detection of primary electrons—a revolutionary advancement in TEM data quality. The high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) shows consistent performance across all spatial frequencies and TEM magnifications. Our patented “movie mode” system provides high-speed acquisition of a continuous stream of frames with nearly 100% duty cycle, so you don’t have to deal with dead time between frames.

The sensitivity, versatility, and flexibility of the DirectView2 make it an ideal choice for microscopists seeking one camera that can support a wide range of TEM applications. Applications of the DirectView2 include in situ TEM, 4D STEM, and single-particle cryo-EM. The DirectView2 is the most reasonably priced option for adding a more powerful camera with new capabilities to an existing TEM.
