Direct Electron attending TMS2023!

Our R&D scientist Dr. Kalani Moore, will be attending the TMS 2023 Annual Meeting and Exhibition, which this year takes place in our wonderful home city of San Diego, California, from March 19th – 23rd.

Dr. Moore is scheduled present a poster on our Direct Detection technology on Monday afternoon in Exhibit Hall G at the San Diego Convention Center.

Dr. Moore will be looking forward to discussing materials science applications of our portfolio of direct detectors, including our Celeritas, Apollo, and DE-16 detectors, for TEM, and our LV-16 and DE-SEMCam detectors for lower voltage applications.

Direct Electron is excited to attend Microscopy & Microanalysis 2026, the premier annual meeting for the microscopy community, taking place August 2–6, 2026 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The group meets Monday through Thursday at 6:00 AM outside the Baird Center main entrance (400 W. Wisconsin Avenue) for runs of 2–4 miles or a 1-mile walk. We will meet each morning of the conference, Monday through Thursday, in front of the Baird Center main entrance at 400 W Wisconsin Avenue at 6:00 AM to run / walk a few different routes of 2 to 4 miles for runners and 1 mile for walkers.
