Director of Research and Development, Dr. Benjamin Bammes will be at the Three Dimensional Electron Microscopy Gordon Research Conference in Barcelona, Spain this month to present a poster (co-authored with Baylor College of Medicine) entitled “Optimizing data quality with an event-based direct detector.” The conference will run from Sunday, June 23rd through Friday, June 28th at the Rey Don Jaime Grand Hotel, Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain. The group meets Monday through Thursday at 6:00 AM outside the Baird Center main entrance (400 W. Wisconsin Avenue) for runs of 2–4 miles or a 1-mile walk.
